Rural retreat in Falmouth 

 

A traditional stone-built cottage in the heart of the Cornish countryside, but only ten minutes from Falmouth.

Pumpkin Cottage is on a quiet lane off the main road in the rural hamlet of Treverva at the southern end of Argal Lake.

It is within easy reach of National Trust properties, beautiful sub-tropical open gardens, coastal and countryside walks, as well as the beaches, shops, restaurants and pubs in and around Falmouth.

​

The cottage has been renovated to provide spacious but characterful accommodation for 4-6 people, and is very comfortably furnished with full oil-fired central heating as well as a woodburning stove.

 

Our family use the house regularly, we have equipped it with home comforts and personal touches to make it a home from home and we hope that this will make it a special place for our guests to enjoy.

You are welcome to bring your dog and there is a warm hose outside for dog washing. The walk around the lake is easily accessed on foot and there is a coffee shop at the far end which serves delicious coffee & food.

There are plenty of public footpaths, many along old pathways used by granite workers in the 18th century and an ordanance survey map willl show them.
